Friends	I like my friend because they always look after my got my back.

My Holiday Recount

My Holiday

In the holidays we went to the Rainbow End.

I was excited when I went to enter the Rainbows End exit the first ride.  I went on the Gold Rush and I went on with my little brother. He was happy to sit next to me and he wanted to go on the Gold Rush again. And my Mum went to the Kids Kingdom with my little brother  

while me and my sister and went on the bumper boats. After the bumper boat we went on the bumper cars then after the bumper cars we went on the Rainbow Coaster. We went on Invader and after the Invader we went on the  Roller Coaster this time we went with my mum my mum was scared to go on the Roller Coaster but mymum was brave enough to go on it. She did not want to go on the roller coaster again..

Book Week

Yesterday at Glenbrae School, students and teachers dressed up as their favourite book characters for book week. All students and teachers were involved. It was held in the hall. It felt like I was in wonderland just like Alice in Wonderland.

The students in Room 7 made dioramas for the book week. Most of the students in room 7 dressed up too as characters. Some of the students  dressed up as characters Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and Superman’s Mum. Room 7’s displays looked awesome. Lots of hard work showed in their displays.

Yesterday we also watched the Super Duper show. The show was about characters from different story books. The characters were Captain Boxers and his Mum. The studentś got involved by being a car and clapping along with the music. I enjoyed it most when a student gave the actor the name of Captain Boxers.  

I did have a lot of fun yesterday. I would like to be involved in another book week activity this year.

My Holiday

Last Saturday morning Dad and I went to rainbows End I was excited to go on the rides. to go first ride I went on the bumper cars It was my favourite because  I like to bumping people  and i bump sale  the most and    the other people was just riding around and the ride was over and we went on the bumper boat and i was wet because
the water was coming on me and i asked my Dad 
he said yes and we ate hot dog and we drink a fanta after all our rides we left rainbow End when it was evening time . I felt tired but happy at the same time I want to do more fun stuff with my Dad

My Mum Sharron

My mum Sharron is a very good mum. She has four children.
Mum is very caring and loving. She cooks nice food for the family. She cleans the house, she 
washes our clothes and works hard. My mum takes me to the shops and to the pool. 
I want my mum to be happy all the time.

Reading Toitoi

Today we had people come in our class to read Toitoi books with us. We love learning with books. Mrs Tofa and I also went for a walking around the school taking pictures and  and I was happy to read with Mrs Tofa. I read a story called The 
fall. It's about a boy going on the Fear fall at Rainbow's End and he wanted to get out of his seat.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday my mum, my sister, my little brother and myself went to my uncle Luke's house to celebrate Easter.

My uncle cooked an umu. He roasted a pig, made a crab salad and some curry soup with pork meat and he had prawns that we ate raw. There was raw fish too for us all to eat.

After eating all the food that my uncle made we had yummy dessert. We were so full and felt sleepy.

The next day mum wanted to take us back home. I wanted to stay but I had to go home.

My uncle packed some pork {puaka} meat some {ota ika} raw fish and lu {taro leaves with coconut cream} for us. He also packed some otai Tongan traditional drink.

Mum’s sister drove us back home. I felt tired but went to Salesi’s house to play.

It was an awesome weekend and I loved all that we did in the weekend with my family.

Today we make some nacho his is how we do nacho step- slice the onion,and,fry until safe

Vodafone Warriors Visit To Glenbrae

Today three players from the Vodafone Warriors league team visited our school. There names are Joe, Kiano and Lewis. It was a highlight to my day because I have never met any famous league players before. There was a quiz game, where we had to answer questions. If you got it right, they would give a drink bottle.

Today I created a advertisement for gumboots. One interesting fact I learned about gumboots, is that gumboots are made from rubber, which comes from the gum of the rubber tree.

1. Fold paper in quarters landscape
2. Draw your petals
3. Insert design inside petals
4. Pick 2-3 colours from crayons
5. Use crayons to outline designs
6. Go over lines at least twice(x2)
7. Dye (Mrs Tofa  will help  with this part)
8. Leave to dry
9. Cut out petals
10. Arrange flower on cardboard
